Give Back

Are you looking for ways to give to others this Christmas season?
Check out some ways you can get involved with the ministries Bethlehem is supporting this year!

Operation Christmas Child

Collection Week: November 16-23

Angel Tree

Deadline: t.b.d.

It starts with a shoebox. A few simple gifts can bring a child around the world incredible joy, remind them they are loved, and open the door to hearing the greatest gift of all—the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through Operation Christmas Child, you can help share God's love with children around the world!

Fill a shoebox with toys, school supplies, and personal care items for a boy or girl. Include a personal note to let them know someone is thinking of them. Bring your completed shoebox to the church no later than noon on November 23.

For many children, this may be the first gift they've ever received. But the impact goes far beyond opening a box! Through Operation Christmas Child, children are introduced to Jesus and invited to grow in their faith through The Greatest Journey discipleship program. A simple shoebox can make an eternal difference!

"It starts with a gift. That's followed by kids connecting with their incarcerated parents, families finding new strength, and the Gospel changing hearts. You can help bring true joy to local children and their families through Angel Tree Christmas."

Visit The Summit Lobby to pick up an Angel Tree request for a child with a parent in prison. Purchase the gift on the card, wrap it, and bring it back to The Summit Lobby no later than December 3. Then, volunteers will deliver the gift to the child with a message from their dad or mom and the Gospel.

"So often, children of incarcerated parents wonder if Mom or Dad still loves them. The embrace of the local church can change all of this. Through Angel Tree Christmas, you’ll help a child and their family know they are not forgotten—impacting generations to come with the love of Christ."

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering

Through December 31
Lottie Moon was a Southern Baptist missionary to China from 1873-1912.  Now, Southern Baptists collect the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering every year to continue to support missionaries around the world.  If you would like to make a donation this year, place your gift in an envelope marked Lottie Moon or give online.
