Tithing
Tithing is about worship, trusting God, and obedience to His Word. Worship happens when we realize that every good and perfect thing is from God.
Tithing is about acknowledging that all that we have, we have because of God. This includes our family, our loved ones, the food on our table, and even our finances. We are convinced of this truth, just as we are convinced that giving back a portion of our finances to God is an important part of walking with Jesus!
We offer online giving, as well as opportunities to give on Sunday mornings during both worship services.
Service
We believe we have a calling on our lives to be people who give! At Bethlehem, we’re convinced there is so much more to giving than giving our money on Sunday mornings. Though tithing is an essential part of the Christian faith, Scripture calls us to give more.
Jesus calls us to sacrifice our time and energy in the service of God and neighbor, and He modeled this lifestyle for us by serving everyone He came into contact with. It is this lifestyle of giving ourselves away that leads us into true community and obedience.
