About Bethlehem
At Bethlehem, we are a community of believers who desire to follow Jesus together in all areas of life. We gather and fellowship regularly as a disciples of Christ, and we strive to be sensitive to God’s leadership of our church through the Holy Spirit.
Our Story
Founded in 1818, Bethlehem Baptist Church has seen tremendous change over the centuries. From its humble beginnings with just a few families gathering in a small chapel, Bethlehem has grown into a vibrant community spanning numerous generations and countless walks of life.
Pastors and Staff
We as a staff want to faithfully serve God, as well as the people in front of us. We are more than coworkers, we are family. We have dedicated ourselves to leading the people of Bethlehem in such a way that Christ is at the center of everything we do. Our desire is to use our unique passions and callings to lead well, and to set the example when it comes to doing life together.
Our Beliefs
At Bethlehem, we believe that the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God, and as such it is the foundation of our faith. It reveals God to us, showing us the way to salvation.
Our Mission
We put our beliefs into action in every aspect of life by adoring God, loving others, and sharing Jesus. We live by this creed 24/7, at church, in our homes and communities, and all across the world.
Worship
Our Sunday morning services are times that we gather as family to praise God together. These weekly services include worship through music, fellowship, and teaching.
Our hope is that members and guests alike feel welcomed into a community of honest, genuine people. We offer distinct service styles at two different times, both with the aim of glorifying Jesus and bringing people closer to Him.
Children
Our children are our future, and at Bethlehem our focus is on helping parents to raise the next generation by showing them the love of God and teaching them to develop a lifelong passion for following Him.
TeamKID is an exciting discipleship program aimed at children, with the goal of teaching them valuable Scriptural knowledge and practical life lessons when it comes to following Jesus.
Students
The student ministry at Bethlehem, the Summit provides a place for 6th – 12th grade students to take their relationship with God to the next level. Our committed leaders provide teaching and mentorship to help students deepen their faith and fellowship with each other in a meaningful way.
Adults
No matter whether you’re in college, single, married, retired, or anywhere in between, there’s a place for you here at Bethlehem! From life groups to Bible studies, service opportunities to missions, we have numerous ways for you to get involved.
Senior Adults
Our Senior Adult Ministry is a great place to find care, fellowship, support and a place to serve. We love being together and provide many activities through out the year.
Men
Band of Brothers is a ministry to encourage men to grow in their faith in Christ, to develop and strengthen friendships with other men and to provide opportunities to serve our church and reach our community and world for Christ.
Women
We believe that women need to build strong, positive relationships with each other as they grow in faith. Our women gather weekly to share in opportunities to be transformed by God’s Word, to lead, and to be led to live out His Word by worshipping Him, loving others and sharing Jesus.
